Cellulose is the most abundant biopolymer on earth.

At Kaylia Labs we are on a mission to replace non-renewable textile fibers with renewable cellulose-derived fibers.

Kaylia Labs is developing CocoaFiber™ -
the world's first textile fiber made from chocolate

Did You Know?

From agricultural residues to textile fibers.

At Kaylia Labs, we are working to develop manmade cellulose fibers from novel agricultural residues.

This means that we never use virgin resources. We rely solely on the byproducts of agro-industrial processes.

"We believe in a future where agricultural residues are the main resource for textile fibers --- increasing the availability of arable lands, creating a textile value chain less reliant on water, and diminishing microplastic pollution caused by synthetic textiles."
